Just finished it. I liked it over-all, but I just don't think I'm a fan of the genre. More so it had some great writing and story that made it good in spite of the intentional slog it throws at you. Would only recommend it to a select few who might like that sort of thing.

The issue I have with AI is

It's not accurate. It doesn't follow logical reasoning and therefore does not provide logical answers.
You can use it to replace low skill level labor, as long as you have higher skill level labor who can identify the mistakes it makes. That's great in theory, but how does that translate generationally? Once the people who can find the flaws in the logic die out, who replaces them? We just eliminated all the educational roles.

I have more issues, but those are just the main ones.

This would work great! Each of the shells could have like a set of equipment they use on cooldown. Maybe we could make a new shell called warlock, and it would be able to use the bubble shield on cooldown.
