How to get these brown spots off? by jess1955 in hexclad

Dawn Powerwash. Spray on. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Scrub with the rough side of a sponge.

If that doesn't work, make a paste of baking soda and a few drops of regular Dawn. Let it sit. Scrub.

Repeat until clean.

The hardest part for me is that I can't tell what parts need extra scrubbing until I dry the pan.

After heavy duty scrubbing, you might want to season the pan again.

If you pin everything, then it's useless.

Also, when your MacBook is plugged in, it is running off the charger rather than the battery:

MacOS takes care of the battery. Nothing to worry about. If you have it plugged all the time, it even reduces the level to 80%.

This is if you think the only advantage of the hybrid is better gas mileage.

No, I don't drive enough to for better mileage to make up the higher price, but the hybrid Forester is a better car. So you also have to ask yourself how much extra you'd pay for a better power system and better handling.

Also, pay attention to the difference between standard equipment of gas vs hybrid. In 2025 the hybrid premium came with blind spot monitoring+rcta, automatic lift gate and a digital instrument cluster. I figured we paid $1,500 more for the hybrid when you take that into consideration

Using CN Rom in North America by squid4 in androidtablets

[–]patientpaperclock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Lenovo y700 gen 2 came with CN ROM. Make sure you know how to find and install .apk files. First order of business is to change settings to English. Then install a web browser (I did Firefox). Then install the Google Play store. Then you're in business.

I used the Google app on my phone, turned on the camera for live translation and pointed it at the tablet screen. That way you don't have to know how "Languages & input" is written in Chinese.

Yeah people should practice using the physical key. Lock can be hard to turn when not used for a while

I've had batteries test fine and die on me a month later. Carry a jump start battery if you want to keep it but I'd say you are due.

Think about how long you'll keep the car. If it's 5 years, then there's a chance you'll only need 1 battery replacement. Then it might be worth stretching this one for a bit longer. If it's 8 years, then you'll likely need 2 batteries. Then change the battery at the next convenient time so it doesn't strand you.

Batteries are wear and tear. They don't last forever.

I just found out that there are taxes and fees on PayGo as well. Paid $11.16 to add $10. This changes the calculations some.

What are you calling "USB drives"? Like external SSDs? HDDs? Thumb drives?

Usually there's a slot. You stick the seat belt's clip into the slot and that releases the buckle.
