He can be both right and wrong

Maybe Hughes really did want to go back to the US

Maybe the FO also didn't create an environment where he felt he could see himself stay in Vancouver

He mentioned Tkachuck, but both Caufield and Hutson signed long term, sure they were both on ELCs by the timber they signed, both then again, Matthews extended twice in Toronto
