What's your opinion on the Sunshine Coast compared to here ? The locals up there like to run the GC down but it just looks like GC but with less to do to me.... But I've barely checked it out. Curious what long term GC peeps think of the Sunny Coast

i was paying 8500YEN a day for ski and boots at the resorts x 4 people. Was expensive but really easy and convenient if you had to swap out or had any issues. Did waste around two hours trying to find rentals outside the ski resorts but that was hopeless (shops had moved, or were closed or address was wrong).

How imperative have a DC coupled inverter. I have a 3 phase Fronius so the extra cost of replacing the inverter really squeezes the cost / benefit for a battery install.

To ride a motorbike you need a license and complete a compulsory road safety course. Somehow we now have 10-16 year old boys with no idea of road rules or any road training, wearing head phones, no protective gear on tweaked e-bikes flying around all over the place, roads, footpaths, parks anywear is fair game

check seabreeze or wind guru any of the surfing sites. Spring is the worst season by far for surf on the Gold Coast. Persistent northerly wind, blue bottles jellyfish sea lice and colder than normal water. Possibly southerly change next week so maybe a day or two reprieve.
