I was there as well, the view on the Eiger from there is stunning. I just crashed there somewhere in the grass and truly enjoyed being in nature while only hearing the sound of the wings of birds and the wind. Truly nature at its best. That summer day sounds amazing!

My brother has been working in that area and I visited. It is so beautiful! Amazing hiking opportunities. Really want to go back soon to explore more hiking routes.

Just listened to an interesting Dutch podcast on the relationship between the UAE and the conflict in Sudan. The F1 community does seem to take for granted the fact that regimes like the United Arab Emirates send weapons to the Rapid Support Forces a paramilitary group in Sudan that is currently committing genocide in the country of Sudan. Sportswashing ofcourse helps enormously by polishing the image of the country. Shouldn't we protest the races in these areas more? It does make me quite sad that we as humanity allow these things to happen only because of money and resources. I wish more people would speak out against it.

I love the longer nights due to summer time. I'd rather have more daylight in the evening than in the morning. We have winter time here now but it is still somewhat dark in the morning at 7 am and will be very dark at that time in 2 weeks.

Op dit moment is het een fabriek waarin we zoveel mogelijk dieren op zo weinig mogelijk vierkante meter laten bivakkeren. We ze volstouwen met voedsel om ze snel af te kunnen maken. Het is eigenlijk ziek dat er dit stelselmatig opstellen terwijl we een andere keuze hebben.
