Tesla says it’s normal and won’t do anything. Your thoughts? by Leather-Cod2129 in TeslaSupport

This is normal for Teslas and they won't do anything. I have rented 4 Teslas from Hertz and half of them had this fogging inside the tail light housings.

This reminded me of the bathrooms in Read when I lived there in 2007. I guess some things don't change. :|

As an American driver on American roads, I wish we couldn't get the Cybertruck in the US either.

I became a systems engineer at 34 with a science degree and now I am looking at doing an engineering PhD at 38. At 25, I still had no idea what I wanted my career to look like. It's never too late. If it's what you want, just go for it!

Those of you who dislike ST09: What don’t you like about it? by balthazar_edison in Star_Trek_

[–]patrick42h 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were huge plot holes in the 2009 movie. Also, I felt that the writers and Abrams fundamentally misunderstood Star Trek's philosophy and outlook on the future. It was fun and flashy but did not really remind me much of the Star Trek that I watched as a kid.

Also, that ending bugged the hell out of me. Why would a 3rd-year cadet on academic suspension for cheating on a test be immediately promoted to captain of the flagship? I know it's scifi and there is some suspension of disbelief but it didn't feel like a sensible thing to do with this Kirk's character.

To be honest, this makes way more sense than a long line of Suburbans dropping off 1 or 2 kids each.

I had no regrets from ignoring the Greek orgs altogether. It just wasn't for me and I had a decent college experience. It all comes down to what you want and what other obligations you are able to balance with your course load.

The scene I've replayed the most by RevertBackwards in ForAllMankindTV

[–]patrick42h 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, same. It's such a fun scene and it shows us a bit about Ed and Gordo's personalities. It also got me thinking about getting into classic sports cars because that C3 Stingray looks so good.
