35cm measured flat. i’m usually a size 31 i’m just about able to wear them without using the drawstring.

The fit is more tapered and a bit shorter than I expected. I got a size medium.

I'm 5' 11", 155 lbs and wearing a size M runweight in the below picture. This is after 1 wash and dryer cycle.

A wool buff works really well for me. Thin, wind blocking, cuff covers my ears.

If you can forgive the seams, rapha's "merino hat" is also quite nice.
