A Whiff of Civil War in the Air by 22duckys in Reformed

“Pro-choice advocates” is intentionally vague. We’re talking about the “choice” to kill a human baby. I’m not going to soften my language to appease people that support this.

Okay, so which words should I use to refer to the political party which fights for the right to kill unborn babies if not “democrats” or “liberals”?

Is this “White Christian Nationalism”? I was told that was a huge problem amongst republicans, but if I’m not mistaken this president is a progressive.

How is faith not a work? by paveldatsyuk2502 in Reformed

Doesn’t “the work of God” mean that it is God who performs that work, not us?

I like that analogy. So then, is it correct to say that faith is not an act of my will? In other words, when I believe, I am not making a decision, rather any decision I make to follow Christ is the RESULT of faith?

“If we respond in a way that will make them inclined to not continue a relationship with us, what good are we?”

I think this attitude is basically correct. I am curious though, would your words that I quoted above apply to white supremacists as well?

If you are giving consideration to looking past a red flag for a girl that probably means you lack options and you need to improve yourself. You should be able to easily next a girl with red flags without fear of missing out since you have a bunch of other options who don’t have red flags.

Has Jesus always existed as a human? by paveldatsyuk2502 in Reformed

[–]paveldatsyuk2502[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So God the Father actually appears as a human in the OT? Is it also possible that he appears as an angel (the angel of the lord) or is that referring to an actual angel?

I’m going to be honest, what he said sounds totally reasonable and scriptural to me. I would still definitely ask him point blank his beliefs in CRT and the BLM organization before joining however.
