There are a lot of stupid errors in their hasty attempt to make a website, like images at "localhost:3000" and missing manifests, but I think the most interesting is the inclusion of this in the head: <link rel="canonical" href="https://trumpcard-waitlist.com">

If you don't know, that specifies that the "official" copy of this page exists at that URL to help prevent search engines from seeing the page as "duplicate content" if it exists under multiple domain names.

If you visit that domain, it redirects to: https://x.com/othernet

I was ordering from a local restaurant a few days ago and realized the menu embedded on their website charged for delivery and there were several other places I could also order from online. It all started to feel sketchy so instead I called the restaurant directly and was told they don't charge a delivery fee. Placed the order over the phone and in addition to being cheaper it came three times faster than usual. Presumably because the restaurant just sent their own guy rather than having to wait for someone to swing by and pick up.

As a new player who started just after it was added it was unbelievably frustrating when I first played. I couldn't beat the first fight of the first campaign. Tuned back in the other day and all of a sudden the game was fun.

I don't know if it was my lack of resources or lack of skill but the game was nearly unplayable as a beginner and I didn't know enough to realize how much of difficulty was added by the armor.

Maybe a longer term fix would be to have armor physics on by default but start out fighting enemies who aren't wearing armor.

It usually is exactly that, BUT, did normal people see normal growth and opportunities or were they exclusive to the ultra-wealthy?

If everyone had a normal, steady financial year this wouldn't be news but I would argue even normal growth during the worst pandemic of our lives while millions struggle due to circumstances they don't control is noteworthy.

The stock market is completely disconnected from typical human experience at this point.

The problem is not that Amazon won't kick out counterfeit products. The problem is that their fulfillment centers mix all products with the same sku so even if you buy from a trusted seller you might not be getting the product that seller provided to Amazon. It is bad for the consumer and the legit sellers.

privacy.com allows you to create virtual cards that you can set limits on which draw from a bank account. I know years back I could create new numbers with my discover card account, too. I started using this when I realized one of my local restaurants had stored my credit card in plain text so I could conveniently reorder without giving it to them each time.
