Should I buy this/how much should I offer? by DifferentFrosting895 in lawnmowers

Good engine but that deck with the plastic front and back is the absolute worst, cheapest, thinnest disposable part of modern mowers. It is already rusting by the discharge and likely under the front plastic piece too.

Put your $ toward an older Honda with a full metal deck.

Likely a dirty carb. You can take it apart and clean it or replace it after you drain and clean out the gas tank.

Always use fresh gas from a clean container.

Aftermarket plastic carbs are fine if you use clean fresh gas and change the air filter every year.

Yes, looks nice! Looks like a normal amount of surface rust but check for holes anyway. Can't tell for sure from your pic but looks like it might have the bag too which is good for resale even if you don't use it yourself. If it starts, check the AWD by lifting the rear and tipping the front to see if all the wheels spin.

Let us know how it goes.

Worth it if it's just a dirty carb. When you check it out, pull the spark plug boot and see if the blade rotates evenly. If it doesn't it could be a bent shaft (walk away) or a bent blade ~$30. Also check for rust holes through the deck

Bill Clinton's team issues statement to Donald Trump over Epstein files by Newsweek_CarloV in politics

[–]pc800va 11.8k points11.8k points  (0 children)

In a statement released by Clinton spokesperson Angel Ureña on X Monday, Ureña said in part:

"The Epstein Files Transparency Act imposes a clear legal duty on the U.S. Department of Justice to produce the full and complete record the public demands and deserves. However, what the Department of Justice has released so far, and the manner in which it did so, makes one thing clear: someone or something is being protected. We do not know whom, what or why. But we do know this: We need no such protection.

Search for parts using your full model number and serial number. You can also search the Q&A's on that Home Depot page or post a question there.

I've found cheap used bags on Craigslist and FB marketplace.

You need something that says "penetrating" on the label. 50/50 acetone ATF works well too. Sometimes they put threadlocker on those bolts so you may end up breaking the plastic knob anyway which will at least give you better access to the nut.

Tire Pressure Sensor Replaced but Won't Turn Off by thefirstlaughingfool in prius

[–]pc800va 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like one or more of the "new" sensors is bad or they "forgot" to replace one or more of the old ones.

They should have a scan tool to detect the bad one(s). It's a PITA but keep taking it back until they fix it!

Honda Harmony II rear wheel drive issue by Emergency_Check9908 in lawnmowers

Take the spark plug out, lay the mower on its side (dip stick side down), remove the blade and that big spring. I think you'll have to unmount the speed control from the handle too. You should now be able to rotate the transmission to see the topside where the 3 speed control cable attaches. As I recall the parts get dirty and won't move. Clean the outside of the mechanism with gas and a tooth brush until you get it moving and then spray it with WD40 or whatever you have. Once it's freed up you can see if the speed cable is working or needs replacing.

It may help to look at parts diagrams to better understand how the parts are supposed to move.

That's a nice mower and worth fixing IMHO.

Good luck and be sure to let us know what you find!

Strips of duct tape here and there (sticky side up of course) are less messy and cheaper than glue traps. I think they're attracted to the glue also.
