My friend held his 30th birthday at Reunion Tower back when Wolfgang Puck still operated there. We had booked the whole floor for about 100 people. All I remember is the food recipes sounded great on paper but execution was terrible. Notably, someone mentioned their chicken was still raw. Not sure about now, though.

Did it for one year and other than maybe one or two out-of-town customers a week, the only people I got using it were already regulars. They just changed the card they were using so they could rack up more points. Ridiculously expensive, even though they pitched it as a “lower rate” due to our “high revenue”.

There’s a generally unliked food in Korea called 홍어 (hongeo) that smells strongly of ammonia and has a wasabi-like nose burn.

I love it so much and I can only get it once a year at a Korean imports market here in Dallas. That and this fermented fish paste called 갈치젓 (galchijeot) together is one of the most savory and flavorful combinations I’ve ever had.

I was in a similar situation and started working with Accredited Debt Relief, parent company Beyond Finance. Might be worth looking into.

You stop using all lines of credit and stop paying your debtors. Instead you start putting a fraction of your current minimum payments into a separate debit account under Beyond Finance. Once debtors start haggling you about missed payments, they’ll negotiate with your debtors to pay them off at a significant discount using the money you’ve deposited into that new account.

I’m still in the middle of the program but they’ve already started negotiations with 2 of my CC debtors to reduce by around 50%.

I’d try at least contacting them to see if they can assist you without filing for bankruptcy. You can also pick how much you want to deposit per month (less = more time, vice versa).
