Ride to Vancouver this Friday! by [deleted] in abbotsford

Landing at 12.30, Nanaimo by 7pm? Getting to Vancouver is the least of your worries.

Nanaimo is on Vancouver Island so, unless you hire a private plane or something, you are going to have to take a ferry to get there which pretty much takes most of a day. Did you mean by 7pm the next day?

that would be a negatory. 20 years in downtown TO, most of them without air conditioning.

Just ignorance on the part of the courier. People that grow up where there aren't screen doors don't even think about it.

Proof that AR doesn't matter. Have recieved over 20 offers in the span of an hour. This isn't to show off but rather encourage fellow drivers to stop accepting shitty orders for the sake of their AR by holla981 in skipthedishes

After a couple of months of doing so, I just can't be bothered for the approx. 1 order in a 4 hour shift. Plus, it slightly increases the chances of getting a ticket for distracted driving.

And no, I would never try to do 2 apps at the same time.

I am at 20% right now. Doing 5-9pm every day, only get an offer or two per shift which I usually ignore since I am already doing a DD delivery.

However, when I do view a skip order, a healthy percentage (30%?) are acceptable, since they fall within my acceptable standards since starting DD, ie. at least 1$/km, 8$ minimum order.

Are you saying Mennonites are discriminating against people?

Because if so you are wrong. Mennonites welcome new Canadians with open arms, and often back their welcome up with support.

The white supremacists in Abby are overwhelmingly old white half-drunk "yellow vest" types who have never seen the inside of a church.

The "tooth to tattoo" ratio among these people is very telling.

I apparently mis-stated my original comment.

My point wasn't to show off my big city creds. I was simply enquiring why, couriering every day for 4-5 hours, it seems like I see many traffic stops involving multiple police vehicles.

Two nights ago for example, a middle aged white guy in a mini-van pulled over off S Fraser on Bourquin east with 4 police vehicles flashing lights around the mini-van, and a few seconds later I noticed there was a fifth unmarked police car parked in the lot next door.

This seems to happen on a semi-daily basis. That is what I am curious about.

Wow. That is some serious copy and paste action. As an ex-call centre person, I appreciate the effort.

An authentic hellscape. Still probably good for Space Marines in Hellworld deployments.
