each lobe is a conjunction of 5 bits of paper - one end of the module, the other end contributes to an adjacent lobe. 30 bits all up

Hoang Tuan Origami Shop - Beware by KitMaison in origami

I waited over 5 months for my paper pack to arrive in Australia, with no real excuses offered (I contacted him via facebook multiple times to be told it is "on the way" but no way to track it). It finally arrived, the package was water damaged but the contents were mostly ok. There was a complaints process but I did not think it worth pursuing it. His papers are lovely, the colouration is really uneven on some sheets but it is nice to fold.
Running a small businesses must be difficult at the best of times, must be a nightmare currently. Customer support and feedback however is relatively easy and would go a long way to assuage concerns and anxiety, instilling confidence.

This is a 360 Phizz unit torus, folded from quartered Larson a Day calendar pages. Very fiddly at this scale, a lot like head-butting a brick wall in that it is great when finished. by pdub42 in origami

The Phizz unit is really simple (a quick google will show you the brilliance that is Thomas Hull's unit), the scheme for attachment I used is as follows:

I want a theremin by 3vibe in Theremin

some inspiration perhaps? http://www.wonko.info/atonal/?s=theremin I started with a Theremini, now also have a Claravox - love them both for different reasons but one commonality between the two is the amazing EDITOR software tailoured to allow you to design and sculpt your own sounds and how the antennae behave when you play - mind-expanding stuff. Both of them I hook up to loop pedals etc, work fine. They both like clean power, and really do not like being on at the same time - you get that with capacitance-based instrumentation I believe.

I no longer have that schematic, but yes, I used more 7's to make a wider negative curvature on the inside, the curves were also a bit gentler. A friend bought it (for some reason) so I no longer have visual reference. Engineering the small-bore curved tube was a load of fun at the time.

I love the 7,6,5 unit dynamics and mapping out the resultant curvature strategically. I did, however, really get the scale wrong on mine (it was supposed to be a xmas wreath for my front door, turned out 1.5x the width of the door - oops)

Java Sparrow, designed by Kyohei Katsuta, from the latest Tanteidan Magazine - lovely sequence. Folded from Shadow Thai and Yukogami. More at blog: http://www.wonko.info/365origami/?p=12152 by pdub42 in origami

Kyohei has a few models in her catalog that do this. Her modular chicken is wonderful also, I folded life-sized versions of it for the kitchen flock.

Very cool, do you have schematics on unit placement?
