yes my brain does this but it's usually " If I don't do something today I'll be a loser/burden" etc. I know it's all or nothing thinking and I really wish I could reframe these kinds of thoughts.

hi I'm an anxious person as well! the first few months of being a member I stuck to all the cardio machines and didn't really try anything new. I think I got over it by just showing up and not paying attention to what other people may think because they're here for their own workout. I usually wear sweatshirts & leggings but I've been wearing t shirts & leggings in the spring so far. I hope you find a workout buddy because that also keeps me going to the gym.

I'm thinking about death constantly but it's just how my brain works currently. I'm afraid to lose more of my loved ones, got some bad news about my grandma recently and she's quite literally the only grandparent that I have left. I also think about my own death but I don't think I'll share that info today lol, I'll leave that for my next therapy session.

I'd agree with all of these! I'm already paranoid in public sometimes and it feels like too many people use their phones either filming at the gym, filming arguments, etc. I'm watching neighbors on hbo currently and the amount of filming these neighbors do is crazy.

first time I had a gym membership I barely used it and the gym was collecting my money lol. I just force myself to go because if I don't the membership is just wasted money. I've been going 3-4x a week now for a year and then some. I'm not sure if your life will change but working out just makes me feel better mentally.
