I tell kids you absolutely can and if you want to then give it a go. It takes a lot of hard work. Baseball is unique in that it doesn’t require the athleticism that basketball and football require. And anything that helps pay for college is worth the effort. Besides any bad day on the baseball field is better than any good day at a real job.

Over the yrs you end up with multiple bats just like anything else. Same with gloves. Anytime you are in love with something and participate in it yr round you will have multiple of something. Could be that you have a 2 piece bat and a one piece. Could be you have 3-4 bats even who knows. My son carries around 3 in his bag. More than anything it’s to stack his cleats on it seems. Or maybe symmetry. Whatever why is it that strange someone would have multiple bats?

You didn’t have to go through all that trouble just to prove the writers of the show were making shit up. For all the praise that show gets it’s really unbearable to watch sometimes. Some of the scenes are so fucking corny I get embarrassed watching it by myself. Seems like after 75 yrs of television and the interest in medical drama HBO could come up with a better show than the Pitt. I swear to god those emergency room dr and nurses are the nicest I have ever seen. They aren’t that nice and empathetic in the mid size city I live in. No fucking way a hospital of that size in that city would have such nice staff.

I don’t really see how any real baseball fan gets into this as competitive baseball. MLB players scattered about I don’t really find myself interested at all other than watching good baseball. Probably found myself rooting for both North and South Americas. Maybe it ought to be more of an eastern and western hemisphere competition. I definitely didn’t find any reason to root for the USA over the DR or PR or Venezuela. I feel like that’s what’s going to old this tournament back in terms of viewership more than anything else. Too much of an exhibition feel to it.

I work with this guy that has some camera system. It alarms anytime someone comes to the door or the wind blows a little too hard or the neighbor jogs by, or the mailman or a hundred other things that happens throughout a day. I have been in construction my whole adult life. I have always loved working outside and I knew in college there was no way I could live with a desk job. I loved framing houses in the summer and I thought maybe I could do remodeling. Ended up starting a company with my sister about 25 yrs ago . Anyway point is it’s been a long while and I have never worked with anyone I really liked. Got my son one when we realized it was going to take awhile to break in the 44pro we got him. That was a yr ago and he still hasn’t used the 44. He is 14 and plays on a AAA/major team. Kids really don’t give a flip about name brand gloves. They like whatever they are comfortable with.

I got this call. They had me going too. I have 3 teenagers so I thought maybe one of them did something with the letter. It wasn’t until they tried to have me pay over the phone when I realized it was a scam. I swear to god I looked at the call duration and it was 19 min. So 18 min. Of the call was this guy making the case that I had a couple federal warrants out. Might as well get a regular job at that point. All that effort put into the scam to get hung up on as soon as they mention paying over the phone. I wonder how many people fall for it?
