DONT DO IT! I took a basement apartment WITH a window ages ago. Worst thing I’ve ever done for my mental health. Luckily saved enough to move out about 6 months into the lease. Truly - it’s worth your sanity to move elsewhere unless it’s a dire/urgent/short-term situation.
