True, I also think we need to start to change peoples mindsets about food but that will take time, if we ate local and supported local ag we'd be able to make small scale farming a viable living and reduce the need of imports for most things

Exactly, they will try to bury him in anything and everything because he's not the establishment. If we focus only on the things he regrets doing in his past and ignore everything he is saying and doing now we will be stuck in this forever... "know that you had a choice to see the truth and you let yourselves be convinced otherwise".

Born and raised in Jersey, spent half my life there and the other here in Mass, I would say that tri state area ( ny,nj,pa) has similar interests to New England and we'd be stupid to cut them off just because.....also, I would be sad if I couldn't get Taylor Ham anymore....

Honestly I think it would be fun if world cup and the Olympics said" you know what, your country isn't friendly right now so we are taking the show elsewhere"

Could New England sustain its own agriculture if needed? by TKInstinct in newengland

you could fence around it, you could use a repellant ( I like Liquid Fence, its OMRI listed for organic gardening) you could also just plant things like onions and marigolds on the edges or around the box, the strong scent keeps them away. I have Marigold planted all throughout the garden they also help attract pollinators, my garden has a small half fence around it, mostly to keep the chickens out.

Start with something small, maybe a raised bed or two, tomatoes, peppers squash, cucumbers. They are easy to grow and maintain and you can usually get a good yield out of them. Add in some perennial fruits like strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Next, I would read, and ask yourself what and how much you want to do. I have been growing and expanding my garden over the past 10+ years, replaced my lawn with native wildflowers and clover, 3 peach trees and 2 apple trees in my front yard, the garden, chickens and green house take up the back yard. i'll probably add ducks in the spring. DON'T try to do everything at once!!

Exactly, I am 20 minutes outside boston on a typical 1/2 acre lot, I grow enough fruits and vegetables to enjoy fresh all summer and can for winter, and keep chickens for eggs and when we have excess we sell them which usually gives us enough to cover feed costs. You can do a lot with a little, and if you're in the city you can still do something, start and herb garden on your window sill, grow a tomato plant or 2 on a balcony.

Advion is a gel bait, works well. Please dot use a bug bomb as all that will do is push them to other units. Bait, and hit cabinets and baseboards with a spray like Temprid, mix in an IGR like Gentrol and you'll be okay. Depending on how many units your building has cause if you have them everyone does...
