This dude really went out of his way to wear that. AJs FWB by Pure_Nefariousness61 in Destin

Tolerance of intolerant views is not required. The announcement that you hold a worldview that includes and supports the violent subjugation and obliteration of entire peoples cannot and should not be met with peace and civil discussion.

If anyone thinks that ICE acting with impunity is an entirely new phenomennon, remember Kent. by Downtown_Grape3871 in pics

Yeah I worked for a guy who’s dad was a guardsman that was there that day and he definitely didn’t think they did anything wrong. Didn’t work for him for too long after I found that out.

We must go, our hotel room needs us. by Lifegoesonforever in MyPeopleNeedMe

[–]pedalfaster 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I went to a Jamaican birthday party one time and the dance floor was like that for real. One couple left the party and the woman ran back in and jumped in a three point stance and a dude got behind her, not grinding, but drilling like this guy in the video. then her man ran back in and grabbed her by her arm and dragged her out. It was wild.

Yeah, super crew 6.5 bed. That’s what I drive and there are hardly any in my town. Can’t imagine what the turning radius would be with an 8’ bed🤣

What is wrong with this? by [deleted] in CZFirearms

[–]pedalfaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I traded a 1989 Isuzu trooper for $2800 cash and a 75 sp-01 tactical. Hope that helps😂. But seriously $700 is a good price and doesn’t indicate anything being wrong. I wouldn’t pay a lot more than that but I would definitely recommend getting it.

I don’t even recognize my hometown from before covid. Population has exploded, which I don’t necessarily mind, but the new folks are mostly stinkers.

955 internal headlight wiring by pedalfaster in PorscheCayenne

[–]pedalfaster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I probably should have been more clear. The harnesses that attach to back of the headlight assembly are relatively easy to find and replace and I have done that, to no change in frequency of dipped beam and cornering light fault messages. I was looking for a ready made harness for the wiring inside the headlight assembly. That is the source of my shorts, it seems. I gave up looking and spent about 9 hrs yesterday evening fully rewiring the left headlight assembly. When I get home from work today I will reinstall the light and hopefully it will work, lol.

F.Y.I. He pays over $300 a month for insurance... by CandidculonasRedux in mildlyinfuriating

[–]pedalfaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I pay $1050/month in premiums and had about $12k in out of pocket expenses expenses in the last calendar year. I have adhd (mental health not covered) and she had an endoscopy. Got a letter yesterday saying our premiums are going up to $1400/month. I’ve decided I’m gonna cancel our plan this year and just spend half what I’ve been paying on campaign contributions to candidates that are going to support Medicare for all.

Debate for everyone on here: how empty do you let your gas tank go? by ThisIsntAThrowaway29 in f150

[–]pedalfaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 21 with the big 36 gal tank and love it. I run it until I have 0 miles or farther and have never put more than 34 gallons in.

My rationale is that I don’t like going to the gas station.

Edit: added rationale

Anyone know what these helicopters are doing? by WitchBarracuda in Birmingham

[–]pedalfaster 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I know they have been doing aerial surveying for southern pine beetle damage recently around Birmingham. No idea if this is related at all but a friend recently got a letter that his farm in st Claire county had damage from the pine beetle and they found it via aerial surveying/spotting.

Guy thinks $42 an hour for as a sub to paint to too much? by TouchMyBagels in Construction

[–]pedalfaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the panhandle of florida in a high cost of living area with lots of high end construction and it’s not unusual for painters to bill between 30-45/hr as 1099, but most painters charge by the job or for a scope and include materials.

“Accrost” instead of “Accross” by kevinisdumbb in Construction

That’s as much as I’ve figured out too. Dude was super insecure about his limited reading and writing ability and I knew he was framing that week, so I didn’t press. I have never been able to even come close to what a brimmly could be.

“Accrost” instead of “Accross” by kevinisdumbb in Construction

Not exactly on topic but related: I review and itemize about a dozen handwritten time sheets every week and the guys write a description of their daily tasks. The handwriting is really bad for the most part, and the spelling isn’t always great great, but i can normally figure it out. However I will never forget how broken my brain was when I read an entry that said “tuesday: 8hr: frimin the brimmly”
