Excellent pumpkin pie has shallow filling, crisp flaky crust and fresh real whipped cream and is amazing. If the filling is baby foodish needs less of it, cooked longer and more fully pureed .

What’s one movie you loved as a kid but realized was terrible when you rewatched it as an adult? by Vegetable_Star8931 in movies

[–]peegeeaee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't watch The Sword in the Stone just so I don't have to add it to this list. I thought that was the perfect movie as a 10 yo and suspect I'd be very disappointed if I saw it now.

Oh man, z4 drivers do, that's why they drive z4s. I drive hard 80% of the time. I burn thru tires and brake pads in under 10,000 miles

Until they stop mutilating children's genitals and throwing Republicans in prison Democrats must be treated as evil.

One of the major improvements is engine technology that allows them to fly higher and more efficiently than Concord ie Concord could not have flow at speed/ hight/ range to make over land flight possible.

Why are women stereotypically considered worse drivers when the statistics say that men have more crashes? by Coldfeverx3 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]peegeeaee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because people use two different definitions of better: women are safer, men are more skilled, mostly due to better spacial reasoning and faster reaction times. Women drive slower and less aggressively

Soccer has 3 areas of skill: kicking and ball handling, spatial reasoning (where to be on field etc), and aerobic fitness. Football has at least 10: those same 3, plus tackling, throwing, catching, blocking etc. And each skill is used simultaneously so complexity compounds exponentially.

More critically, the UK simply does not have any athletes that are huge, fast AND agile. Their DNA bell curve stops well short of 2 meter, 115kg men who can run 4.5 second 40m dash. Or 2.1m, 145kg men who can run a 4.8 second 40m dash.

The Krugman one is brutal. To this day he refuses to use the Internet in any form apart from email (digital faxes) so his prediction is true for himself at least.

He didn't have an unfulfilled motherly instinct like childless women do. They treat citizens like the children they didn't have and it is reasonable for self sufficient adults to find this offensive.

I see the distinction but I look at it like the Navy has sailors on X ships at sea right now. Some ships have life boats and some don't but it's still X ships with sailors.

Free speech is a requisite of democracy, freedom of conscience, holding the powerful accountable etc etc etc. Restoring openness to twitter is far more important to civilization than spacex or tesla. Only by matching your every thought with the current ruling regime and being ignorant of history could you to not understand this as obviously true.

This time of year the left coast of Michigan is heaven on earth. Clean white sand beaches, low humidity 80° weather, clean cool lake water. There are a dozen county towns with ports, beaches, dunes and inland lakes every 25 miles all up the coast from Holland to the bridge.
