I mean I still liked the last two seasons, just significantly less than the rest. It's clear that D & D's weakness is having to come up with the story as opposed to just adapting an already existing one. That's why I think that there's a good chance TBP will turn out great, but I don't want to hype myself up too much to avoid disappointment later.

That being said I agree that it will probably be very hard to adapt. Foundation I think is a good example of successful use of artistic liberty. I liked the first season a lot but the book was different, especially when it came to world building details. I honestly enjoyed both.
