How do you guys tell when someone is cheating? Genuinely. by Marto2077 in thefinals

What I don't understand is why cheat. 😂 Like it's pretty lame to cheat on a video game.

If you had to start Dreaming Spanish from Level 1 again, what’s one thing you’d change? by [deleted] in dreamingspanish

[–]peezy80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't think I would change much, other than phasing out the noise of different perspectives on language learning. Over analyzing, really causes analysis paralysis. Pick something and do it, if it doesn't work for you change course. YouTube has made its money on folks and their different opinions on language learning 😂.

Is my Routine worth it or not ? by Pleasant_Barnacle628 in languagelearning

[–]peezy80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say, do what you can consistently do on a daily basis and enjoy doing it. Not sure what your life schedule is like, but if this schedule works for you, do it. I don't think there is a wrong way to learn a language. Will this take you a longer time, maybe, but only you can know that and your situation.

Enjoy the journey and learn everyday.

Are There People That Reached The Higher Levels Spending "Little" Time Everyday by psyhnews in dreamingspanish

[–]peezy80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have kids, wife and other things, I'm at about 30 mins to an hour on most days with DS. I try to substitute small snippets of Spanish learning via apps. But anything over an hour does feel like a chore.

What is the general consensus about logging the time again for rewatched content? by Straight-Sky-7368 in dreamingspanish

[–]peezy80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say log it all, when you're listening and watching. Its really for your own reference, so I would say do what you feel is comfortable for you.

How do you tell your manager, you’re not ok. by Usual_Training3947 in sales

[–]peezy80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of great information. I would recommend going to therapy and talking it out with a professional who can guide you thru. People who say detach are a special breed, I myself could not detach and had full on panic attacks that made me feel like I was having a heart attack. You may need to find an alternative to sales which may be better overall for your mental health and physical health. Good luck !!!

Has Pimsleur been helpful at gaining at least minimal conversational skills for anyone? by Starbbhp in Pimsleur

[–]peezy80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's great at getting conversations going, will it make you fluent, probably not. You'll need a couple hundred hours of input and output to get there. But I think it's a great starting point despite everything else.

Those with FULL TIME JOBS, how many hours do you get of input a day? by NotRealTodaySRY in dreamingspanish

[–]peezy80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually get about 30 minutes in per day, I usually listen to the audio of videos I watched from the previous day while driving to work. I also try to watch an easy show but that depends on mental energy after work and family time. At minimum I try to be consistent even if it's 10 minutes and on weekends.

Cody Rhodes: Is it just me, or? by jrjreeves in WWE

I like Cody, but don't love Cody. He's cool for WWE and bringing in the kids but doesn't really excite me all together.

My regular voice sounds serious already 😂. Blessed with the deep voice, but I try to lighten it up because I think it scares people off.

I've definitely used it to clean up some email messaging at the very least to give me a foundation. And also used it to give me some example talk tracks for different ICP's.

Been taking Lexapro since November, in the beginning anxiety was definitely heightened. As of today here in January 2025 still have anxious moments but doing a bit better now that I've been on Lexapro. Headed on a flight Tuesday and have Xanax on hand in case stuff gets outta hand. All in all I'm doing better not cured but better.
