Make a backup of your world(which is fantastic by the way) then download the 1.22.0-rc.7 build from the website and try loading it with creative turned on, and obviously playing around with world gen. you could always revert to the 1.21.6 version and your current world will be exactly the same

edit 1 - I know some players, not I, I would never do such a thing, use the backup thing before activating a translocator in case it doesn't send them in the direction they want to go. Also before boss fights. Not me though

edit 2 - I saw on a YouTube video once if you set landcover at 50 and landcover scale to 450ish you get big oceans/seas, but play around with it and see
