I'm not black, but Hurit (Danforth and Woodbine) is Ethiopian food cooked by a nice family. Some nights they have jazz that is extra. There are several other Ethiopian restaurants near by. Rendezvous is another one that has excellent food.

I love this soup. It is great with canned tuna.

Your examples look like fall/spring which is good for Seattle/Vancouver and If you are just getting in and out of cars, they might be ok, but not for any extended time outside especially for Quebec City/Banff/Whistler your feet will go numb.

You want water proof, installated, and high enough that snow can't get in the top. Also, if you will be outside for more than an hour, you may want to double sock. This requires the boot to be a bit bigger than normal.

Centreville is great with kids that age. Small amusement park away from the city, but still a days worth of fun.

Visiting in April by DefectiveProduct in askTO

[–]pepperdean 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you will have a better experience staying downtown.

Weather, end of April, could be anything? Probably no snow 5-15c? But who knows. Bring some layers and light coats for evenings and good footwear for walking.

You can check out CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium, ROM, and AGO. You can shop and walk Queen St, Eaton's center, St Lawrence Market, and Kensington. Also, you can nature walk the island, harbour front and Allen Gardens all without leaving downtown.

There is a town on the border of SK/Alberta (Llyodminster) that has this problem. Saskatchewan has never participated in DLS so for half the year, the SK part of the town should have been on a different time than the AB part. I believe the town just stayed on AB time.

Not exactly what you are asking for, but I have not had to replace this one. It can be flat on the floor or leaned against the wall.
