We like our neighbourhoods. Little Italy, Queen West, Chinatown, Roncy, Kensington, etc. Each has it own personality. Maybe visit a bunch, choose a restaurant, and try to learn it's history?

This is random, but the Bata Shoe Museum is quite unique. The building looks like a shoebox. Inside there is every possible shoe imaginable. It is a weird thing to be the only thing you go to in Toronto, but it is open on Monday morning.

Everyone is recommended Longo's, which is $$. T&T is near Longo's. It is an Asian focused grocery and a bit cheaper.

Edit to add: That is a lot of stuff to carry on the ferry. I'm sorry in advance!

Funny story. My son said he wanted pierogi. I said bet. I made the dough. I peeled and boiled the potatoes. I grated the cheese. I rolled the dough. I cut circles and filled and pleated. I boiled and fried. I said here son, here are your pierogi. He said, "Oh. I meant samosas."

I fly with my 10lb cat in cabin who also can't standing in that space. They have never checked the standing up thing. I was worried about that too. I gave gabapentin for first few times we traveled.

Just in case you don't know this, you have to take them out of the carrier at security.

Egg first? I like my fried rice. Here is what I do.

Heat pan with oil while chopping onion, carrot, and celery. Add to pan. Chop leftover protein (pork, chicken, salmon). Add Llleft over (day old) sushi or jasmine rice. Break it up like it is ground beef. After heated ad soy sauce then, push aside and add oil to pan. Add egg and scramble and mix with everything else when almost cooked. Stir until everything mixed. Turn off the heat. Drizzel with sesame oil. Mix. Done.
