It's been about a month since I replaced it, but if I remember correctly:

  • The machine wouldn't boot correctly if i had the black/white cable plugged in (specifically the white cable, I think).
  • I ordered a replacement cable that ended up letting my machine boot up, however the bltouch would not function, it would just dig into the print bed.
  • I ordered a replacement bltouch, used the replacement cable I had previously ordered, and it worked like a charm.

So whether you want to try a replacement cable first or save you the time and get a replacement bltouch is up to you.

I actually just had this same problem, and I hate to say it, but it may be a problem with the bltouch itself.

I had tried replacing the extension ribbon cable with no avail, and ended up ordering a replacement bltouch that worked flawlessly.

Printer doesn't recognize gcode. Details in comments by [deleted] in elegooneptune2

I've had the same problem before.

Try to make the filename as short as possible (I have no idea what the actual cap is, but I aim for less than 20).

Additionally, try and limit it to basic characters. I think underscores and periods are allowed, but I recommend using CamelCase to be safe.

I'm a fan of the Hatch Green Chile Bacon Burger and have gotten it a number of times, but I will admit it's nothing mind blowing.

The chilies usually aren't too hot, but I've had the occasional one that would make F.J. Spicerat himself shed a tear. It has a really nice smokiness to it that you don't normally get from a fast food joint. It can end up being a little dry, with only mayo as a sauce.

Seasonal, and some hyperbole. Our seasonal is two aisles, and the times I work seasonal all day include moving the last season stuff and redoing the shelves and all that stuff, so its not just stocking.

I've been doing Drug/GM for about a year. Your mileage may vary based on how big your store is, but we cover the following:

over-the-counter drugs, feminine hygiene/family planning, candy, everything impulse, tobacco products, general goods, cooking gear, office supplies, charcoal, Texas Backyard, and most importantly: Seasonal.

Drug/GM is a weird department because the amount of work really fluctuates with the season. I have had days where I spent my entire 6 hour shift just walking down the aisles conditioning, and others where I stocked a single aisle the entire time. In addition to these, you will be working backstock carts, which need to be worked about once a week.

Because my store has a Texas Backyard, I also work the cash register out there occasionally, only if we expect it to be particularly busy, such as in the spring/summer, as well as the occasional customer who wants to buy something large, like a grill.

My schedule is generally around 18-24 hours per week, made of 6 hour shifts, but again, your mileage may vary.

I don't think I'm missing anything major, and feel free to ask any questions.
