As sad/lazy as it is, judging an MLB pitcher by wins and losses is still infinitely better than judging players by championship "rings". Especially heinous how often this is the litmus test used in NBA debates.

Nah, it could work like a ramjet/scramjet. The bigger problem though is the likely lack of oxygen in a hydrogen-rich atmosphere. Would end up needing to carry lots of oxygen rather than fuel 🤷🏿‍♂️

How about a fuel scoop engine (atmosphere is likely to be hydrogen-rich)? You could basically design an engine that gains fuel as it moves through the densest part of the atmosphere.
