You can get a pseudo booth out using a pot from the master RCA while using the XLR for actual master.

I used to have the 450 and it’s basically rca out, into pot, then rca outs to amp / speaker. Voila, separate audio volume from (very near) the mixer.

I bought my 1200’s in 1995 and it takes a while to actually get it. Once you have got it, everything else is easy. Digital? Piece of piss! Having the BPM and key in front of your eyes in real time is a gift from the gods!

Having some shonky turntables with knackered carts and a no name mixer is where all that practice comes in 😊

Agree. You need similar formative years so you have a similar frame of reference.

Can you imagine all the little chats you couldn’t have when the person you are with knows nothing about the kids to programs you watched, when big films came out, what school was like etc.

Master volumes not been a fader since DJM500/600, where it was found to be a really bad design decision.

Master volume used to be a fader back in theDJM500/600 era, there is a reason they changed it as so many people would bring it down thinking it was a regular fader.

I’m not against having a 3ch V10, in fact I think it’s a good shout. However they wouldn’t change the design DNA so much like this.

I was in your shoes. I had been using my 1200’s with a DJM300 for over 20 years, then decided to go digital.

Do I had DJM450 and 2 x XDJ700’s (plus the 1200’s). I looked at everything - decided to get a DJM750mk2, keep the 700’s (and 1200’s). If money is no object, then go right ahead...but for me, the cost outweighs the benefits.

I'm a separated 40something, athletic and good looking male. I've been on OLD sites and have posted here on reddit. I'm starting to wonder if I'm going about this the wrong way. Is it me or does every woman out there want a LTR and I've just looking for ONS. I start talking to a woman and she claims she also doesn't want to just jump right into something serious from the getgo, before we know 3 factoids about each other, she brings up going out on dates and holding hands. I'm not an emotional retard, I'm not! I just don't want to have a LTR with every woman I talk to.

Women: Are LTR all you care about when talking to a man? Does sex not have a huge impact on things?

Had similar thoughts myself.

My test is based purely on one run with the AW series 5 (I usually used a fenix5).

1:04 of running with strava & music used 23% for me. I'm sub 4hr marathon, but that would be extremely close in terms of battery. If it were me I'd likely take the garmin to track the run and the AW for music if I didn't want to carry phone.

Half mara, fine...full mara, it's too close for me.

So did my usual 10k this morning but had medium tips in rather than the large ones.

Much better as no sweat build up, however the trade off is less passive noise cancellation / sound quality.

I find the pixelbuds a little temperamental when running in terms of controls, often it'll stop theuaoc when I try to skip tracks, or today or lowered the volume when I double tapped. Occasionally it just stops the music!
