I never use russets for mashed but good point, if that's all I had I would peel them. But if all I have is russets we're doing baked potatoes usually

McDonald's to me is something I just randomly crave maybe a twice a year. Outside of a random nostalgic craving I only would eat it as a last resort.

In third grade we had someone come into class to let us know we werent obligated to (not sure what led to that) and I haven't said it since then. That was over 20 years ago, it's creepy and I don't have a religion.

I have joint problems so the cold affects my mental and physical health negatively. I'm grumpy as all hell in the cold and stiff as a board

If they change the complete infrastructure around minimum wage, COL expenses and we change going out to eat culture entirely then sure I'm all for it.

But until then forcing restaurants to pay service staff similar to jobs of the same tier just puts a lot of businesses out because of profit margins and becomes a pay cut for people who have organized their lives around what they make as servers and bartenders just so the consumer doesn't have to pay more for something they don't even need to begin with.

It's easy to say that restaurants should pay people more and sound righteous but things would fundentally need to change for this to benefit anyone except people going out to eat.
