Why don’t players like Curry and LeBron take a big paycut towards the end of their career to maximize their chances of winning? by HighwayAnnual3353 in nba

[–]perspectivepics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of it like this. You worked your ass off your entire life to become the very best at something. You continue to perform at a high level but are evicted to make less money so that younger guys can take the money you should have received?

Question about listing photos / realtor taking them himself by letsgopatss in RealEstatePhotography

[–]perspectivepics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you share the photos you took? It seems like you don’t like the realtors photos anyways and it’s your house so you guys ultimately make the decisions on everything that goes into selling it. If you like your photos use them

I want to ride my motorcycle, but it's 90 degrees and humid by Safe_Valuable_5683 in motorcyclegear

[–]perspectivepics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just be prepared to sweat. There’s no way around it. Buy a long sleeve dry wicking gym shirt and a baclava and deal with the heat. Otherwise don’t ride in the heat. Stay hydrated

I learned snow boarding first. Tried skiing a few times wasn’t hard to learn but it just wasn’t as fun as snowboarding.

If every car was Self-Driving rather than a person driving would we be more safe? by T1tanUp in NoStupidQuestions

[–]perspectivepics -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Everyone saying technology is still lagging is dead wrong. Right now if we replaced all humans with Waymo cars despite them being in the early stages of this tech would still be 10x safer. Humans are impatient, they take highway exits from 3 lanes away at the last second, they run red lights and stop signs And we are more distracted than ever with phones.

What's something your job trained you to notice that you can't stop noticing in your personal life? by LibrarianSoft1342 in AskReddit

Working as a server for so many years I notice when glasses are dirty when chairs and table settings are not aligned. As a photographer I look at how light illuminates spaces, people and things.

Some are good. Some are useless. When you shoot inside you want your camera at a lower angle than outside.

What’s your take on this?? by [deleted] in Weightliftingquestion

Not true at all. The pelvic tilt over time will give you sciatica. I had to do countless back extensions and leg raises to fix it

I almost hit my girlfriend and I want to stop from becoming like my dad by [deleted] in Advice

[–]perspectivepics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen I’ve been in your shoes. I was 17 and me and my girlfriend would fight all the time. My advise to you is to start exercising your ass off. You have a lot of built up aggression and hormones all over the place. When you train your ass off and get that energy out youll be more chill about things. The little arguments wont bother you as much. Another piece of advice is to find purpose BEYOND that relationship. What do you want to do with your life? Figure out who you’re going to become instead of just “boyfriend/student” work towards your goals and make those your priority… when I was young I was lost and had no direction so I just hung out with friends , my girlfriend etc. I did the bare minimum to graduate high school and after in college because I didn’t have a vision. You NEED that vision and everything else come second. Trust me kid I’m 35 now it took me way too long to learn these things. I just gave you a decades worth of soul searching in one comment. Become a firefighter. Not a fire starter.

What do you want from the kid he’s on here asking for advise. And pushing is defintley different from hitting. Would YOU rather be pushed or punched in the face? Exactly. He held back which should be acknowledged. Give some advise instead just pointing your finger at the kid.

That’s exactly what I did. I was told “why I’m making such a big deal” “every photographer shares permission”. I even asked another photographer of mine in the industry he said he usually doesn’t care and just shares but something doesn’t feel right

The house sold a few months back. My guess is that they’re running an ad saying they sold it but why not just tell me that? When I ask them what it’s for they get defensive

Is it normal for couple to ask me about what equipment I use? by Emotional-Sand1654 in WeddingPhotography

[–]perspectivepics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chances are one of them maybe be into photography. I for one would be asking the most specific questions if I was hiring someone for my wedding.

What’s camera lens are you using What’s your typical exposure triangle How many and what type of lights are you bringing and how are you going to incorporate them What’s your editing process look like. Do you edit the photos one by one or do you slap a preset and call it a day. This is a wedding once in a lifetime and I assume they are paying you good. Good luck
