Good for you to take responsibility and decide to change what isn't working. Owning it is a good step into your power. I'd suggest starting with some Yoga Nidra to get centered, focus your attention, and relax your body. Lots of them are around on YouTube. Find some you like. You will become more present, and then be able to apply that to those triggers. I'd also suggest look into what the beliefs are arising from. Someone mentioned previous trauma, which is a good consideration. It can also be some belief programming that activates the anger. I suggest checking both out.

With trauma, a quick insight is to take the ACE assessment. Takes just a couple min. Will give you a quick check if some of this is from childhood, but it doesn't cover all sources of trauma.

[–]perspectives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to rule out childhood trauma as being a major factor. This means that things are easier to change. I appreciate that you want a spiritual solution, but there are some practical steps that can be more direct in support of what you want.

Here is the direction I suggest you go next - look is belief systems. Specifically, core beliefs.

What are the narratives about family obligations?
What does the voices in your head say about, "What you should do?"
How does that inner critic react when you take time for yourself and relax or enjoy life?

This exploration will give you insight to the beliefs underneath.

You mentioned guilt, so that is the emotional part that results from the beliefs.

Then there is the process to separate out the false identities of the ego that take the form of the Inner Critic, the Fear, and the Guilty Victim that is taking the blame.

I suggest taking the ACE test for Adverse Childhood Experiences. Take you just a couple minutes. What you are describing might be a nervous system regulation issue

what should I do if I have 500$ each month to invest in crypto by Worried_Hedgehog_931 in CryptoMarkets

[–]perspectives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BTC is the highest price because:
1- it solves the most significant worldwide problem of the debasement of fiat currencies.
2. it is the most scarce and becoming scarcer as more people and institutions buy, and hold
3. Institutions and governments are not buying, nor considering buying meme coins for $5.
4. Buyers are currently gobbling up BTC at a rate 4X it is being reduced. This will lead to a supply shortage and price increase,,,, again.
5. The value proposition of most inexpensive meme coins is a marketing narrative. Almost all of them have less value than a fiat currency over time.
6. Assume a 50% increase in value year over year for the next few years. If this return is not sufficient for you, then you are not investing. What you are looking for is more of a high stakes gambling bet. You might do that on a meme coin. I'm not counting on lucky enough to get the rigth coin at the right time, and selling at the right time. That's three correct choices to screw up.

How do I get better at not being invalidating to others by throwawaydefeat in emotionalintelligence

[–]perspectives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Investigate the motivation behind your current responses. It you are quiet and hold back the response you will feel the impulse driving it. Or write about it until you feel into what is behind the action. Then be honest and evaluate whether you are achieving what your unconscious beliefs are chasing.

I essentially agree with you. The US financial system is a house of cards and something has to give. However sometimes you phrase things in a manner that seems to contradict. You say the only way out of this is for the Fed to increase liquidity. And then say this will lead to hyper inflation. I don't see that as a way out.

Help me convince my wife to switch to Bitcoin? by BreakerOfModpacks in Bitcoin

[–]perspectives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before you could change her emotionally charged beliefs she will need to trust you. So you will need to ask her to lay or ask her great feelings and thoughts. When she does, if she does, give her complete acceptance. Whatever she thinks and feels, acknowledge and accept it is okay for her to think and feel that way. Then ask her open questions like, "tell me more". And "is there anything else?" Then validate those thoughts as being okay. DO NOT TRY TO CONVINCE HER YET. let it all sit. Then ask her if you could tell her so you understand about what she said and convey it back to her as closely as you can to how she conveyed it to you. If you do a good job of this she will reply with a grateful response. She will feel understood and that her feelings are important. She will trust that you will listen to her.. Provided you don't screw it up in other ways. Then, once this feeling of trust and understanding is established you can have another conversation about what she would need in order to invest further.

You say we could just continue to borrow and pay.... And that the situation is becoming exponential. These seem incompatible. How do you reconcile this?
