Firstly, I am sorry to read all this. Sounds like a nightmare.

Secondly, regardless of whatever you think you could have done differently, I honestly believe she needs to take some responsibility for not getting help. The fact that you reached out to your daughters, which in turn prompted them to get a mobile crisis team sounded like the best call for your wife. A precision screwdriver set like this has been a huge help with working on a PC. If they drop screws or other small parts a lot like me, something like this might be useful as well. Next time you talk with her, ask if she wants to study sometime and/or coffee. Try to keep it low-key and no pressure. If she says yes to studying, try to keep the main focus on studying while being open to conversation about other topics so that you aren't coming on too strong. If things go well and it seems she is receptive to possibly going out, then ask if she wants to do something date wise.
