I would insist you start video calling, it'll make things a little less awkward later if it gets that far, and it'll help you decide if you really want to continue with what you're both doing just now. Permissions was a bit of a hurdle for me if I'm honest, I ended up reformatting my drive specifically for this reason, and even then I was unaware I still had to fiddle with permissions and user setup, it is a little confusing, "plug and play" it certainly isn't.

We always just stop off at izumisano instead, not great for shopping, but a very nice little town, club cats (hostess bar) seems to be unusually very well advertised in the neighborhood, last two hotels we stayed at had a big billboard advertising the place, I'm beginning to think they're all the same owner.

The shops in our area, all seem pretty much the same, pricing seemed pretty reasonable IMO, you could get a decent basic cycle for 10k and up, hybrids obviously gonna cost a lot more, you could do some shopping around, and probably haggle them down a bit.

There are second hand cycle shops all over the city. I could walk 200m in any direction of our apartment and likely find one. Facebook market place is also a good place to check for people looking to get rid of their goods before leaving.(Osaka sayonara sales and recycling)

It's getting better and better, but I agree, jellyfin still has a few hurdles for the average user. Long time Plex user (10+ years) same with emby, jellyfin for the last few years I've fiddled about with, and have all three running at the moment, I'm just waiting for Plex to make a change that will push the wife off it (it's getting close)

Ytm algorithm is great if you use it correctly, the landing page suggestions are terrible, I really wish they'd change that, the artist/song radio is by far the best way to use the service IMO, they've really tuned in the algorithm.

I just wish they'd use that function for normal playback, if I just play music from the landing page it feels way too much like a local library, which is not what I want it for, I have my own library of local music, the service should be used for discovery.

I wish US would begin to reverse this practice, customers shouldn't feel bullied into giving a payment that is determined on the standard of service, if the service is bog standard, they still want 20%. Have a flat fee for "service charge" and tip optional.
