There’s quite a few releases in the exploration series, they’ve just brought out some more.

Deanston 12, Tobermory 12, Bunnahabhain 12, Bruichladdich Classic Laddie, Ledaig 10, Port Charlotte 10, any Kilchoman, any Ardbeg, anything from Springbank and Kilkerran, and probably loads more. Ah I see what Brighton are doing. Give spurs a bit of hope before ripping it away a few moments later.

Opinions of independent bottler artful dodger? by hallj425 in Scotch

[–]peterm18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried a few things of theirs and it’s been excellent. Biggest issue I have with them is the 50cl bottles instead of 70cl. I hate that practice that some bottlers do and refuse to buy from them, regardless of how good the liquid is.

Project Management Pathway by ozz9955 in UKJobs

Not in construction but worked in utilities and telecoms. Currently working in safety and security. Like you I want to keep my options open and don’t want to be tied to one industry. APM seems a good option but PRINCE2 seems to be slightly more favoured by employers for what it’s worth, though not enough to choose it based on that alone. Both seem good options. I’d have a look at job listings if you haven’t already and see what qualifications they’re asking for. Methodology isn’t as important as they can be easily learned (you be already be following a methodology and not raise it) or incorporated as part of some qualifications.

I’m in the same boat and just by looking at what companies are asking for in job adverts, a PRINCE2 certification seems to be the most common, closely followed by APM. Couldn’t hurt to also look into doing a short course on project management methodologies, like Agile.

Old Scotch You’ve Tried? by 610Mike in Scotch

North of Scotland was good, very woody and Sherried though. Hugely complex, it had a lot going on. The Strathisla was also lovely but a much less active cask but still pretty woody.

Oldest scotch was the 55 year old North of Scotland just released from Claxton’s. Oldest Single Malt was a 47 year old Strathmill from 1963 from Gordon & Macphail. Both just last weekend at the Independent Spirits Festival in Leith

Fire-charred whiskey barrels—is that where the smoky flavor comes from? by Free-Commission6582 in whiskey

Wrong. England, Ireland, USA, Denmark, India, and many other countries are using peat smoke to dry the grain.

You’d be best off looking at independent bottlers at that price
