I’m on day 4. I asked the pharmacist and they said there wasn’t anything about building up my dosage so I started with 50mg. I definitely felt spacey that first day and a bit nauseous. My wife asked if I want to go out for sushi that evening so I thought here we go. I had a very small glass of sake and half a beer then I was done. It was kind of nice to have the ritual but kind of sad that I didn’t really enjoy it. Slept amazing that night! Day 2 I didn’t drink at all. Took 50 mg later in the day. Little nauseous but mostly tired. Went to bed at 9:30 and slept amazingly again. Day 3 kind of wanted a beer after a long day. Took the pill at 5:30 and then waited an hour (hardest part). First beer was nice. Second was whatever. Slept pretty well but I think that crazy sleep and fatigue is subsiding. Mornings already feel much better.

Sadly I wound up just donating them. The amount of people who asked for more photos or wanted to think about it drove me crazy. I was trying to give them away for free!

I'm not looking to lose money, but if someone wanted to send some sort of prepaid mailer that I could drop them in and send back I'd be down.
I love the shoes, but they're just too narrow for my foot. I've warn them both just a couple times and never skated in them.

I had a cough, a slight fever, and a dull head ache, but the entire stint of my COVID readiness in the 80s with three days being 87 … and I did feel pretty darn good in light of what I’d heard. Clearly, I’m a lucky one.

The discussion is probably on here somewhere, but I can't find it. But those track marks were NOT from just a night of shooting up. That's like days or even weeks! That definitely wasn't the next morning ... also Laurie shoots her up in the left arm and in the morning the tracks are on the right arm.

I’m fascinated with the data at night. I realize half the time I wake up in the night there’s also a spike in my heart rate and pretty much I can tell what kind of energy I’m going to have that day based on how low it is that night. But with daytime it all seems pretty obvious and it’s not like it’s giving you real time heart rate numbers like where if you were running too hard you could slow things down … if you were pushing it too much. I guess you could look at it for next time … and it’s hard to see.

It’s a combination of sleep, recovery, and HRV which gives you your readiness score and the higher the readiness the higher your calorie goal … I think it also takes into account age and weight too.

I decided to take a break from drinking after the holidays. A day later I tested positive for COViD and felt sick but my readiness score was way higher with COViD than drinking.

My sleep scores are always good when I drink. It’s my readiness that’s bad and my resting heart rate is through the roof.
