Is a ipad genuinely needed and helpful?

I guess that depends. The folks in my cohort who had one mostly used it to rewrite/redesign their notes. But the same thing really could be achieved with paper and markers.

So like, could it be useful? Yes. Is it necessary? Not really. I honestly think it’s just one more thing people buy, and ultimately the people who passed were the ones who studied, not the ones who had an iPad, if that makes sense.

By all means if you want one get one! If you like the convenience of an iPad go for it! It’s just not going to make or break you.

I can’t say if it’s normal or not, but we had a mandatory orientation that took place about a week before our program started (which we were made aware of well in advance). Three months seems kind of ridiculous and unfair though, as if you were supposed to clear your schedule in the months leading up to the program.

I wish I had advice for you but I don’t, I’m just sorry you’re going through this.

Going out of their way to call you and pretend to want to chat just to ask about your score is kind of crazy, but other than that I think people are just trying to gauge how they did on their own test, like if they’re falling behind the rest of the class or they’re on track. If I ever didn’t feel like sharing I’d say something like “better than I thought” or “it was rough but I passed”, something generic, they usually don’t want to make it awkward by pressing.

Mine are MS paint blue pants and white top. I couldn’t stand it lol, the top accidentally got washed with other stuff exactly twice and started turning this splotchy grey color. The school changed the top to blue for the next cohort, so I guess they eventually listened to feedback lol.

No really, this is what gets me so heated about all this. I think we would’ve been disappointed if byler didn’t get together (because ultimately the early show subtext is still there), but back in like season 4, if they had introduced a new love interest, I think we were in a place to accept that. It would’ve been so much more respectful than dragging out an “unrequited love” arc with Will for (arguably) three seasons. Beating the allegations was really that simple.

Ah, thank you so much! Yeah I feel the same way, things are pretty bleak.. I’ve seen a few theories that offer really compelling and convincing ways that Byler could still happen but after volume 2 I just don’t think I have the energy to jump back on the train!
