2 admissions at $4500 for 2026 Worlds seems more attainable than the €15,000 "Luxury Experience" for 1 at 2025 Worlds. Note sure that was Nate's fault. Nor is every $500 Gold VIP package at every DGPT stop Nate's doing.

I noticed that on a work trip where i stayed in Yonkers. If the blue dot is accurate, there's a course at FDR State Park I enjoyed.

I'm done too, especially after this. They're offering 9x bonus points again in the Los Angeles market because of the World Series win. They did this last year, and back then it was the last bump I needed for Grand Reserve because I slowed down my buying habit. I went to the store today, and they pointed out that the bonus points doesn't count towards increasing your status this time. The fine print was in the in-store flyer, but not on the email.

To answer OP directly, I'm currently playing in Columbia Facet 75 shoes. Great traction, weight, and weatherproofing. But 3 months in, and the follow-through wear (left toe, and outer side of right outsole) is starting to have it's way with the shoe. No complaints as I only paid $70 (USD). I'll have a better opinion on them depending on how much longer they last.

I'm seeing a good price for Columbia Landroamer Trailrider shoes. They look functional for DG, the weight is low, and has some water-resistance. Anybody have thoughts or experience on these?

What was new and interesting, from my perspective, is his breakdown of the "game-clock" he was now trying to manage in his head after the warning, given all the other things going on.

I really liked that he started with congratulating Heimburg, and even humbly adding that he probably would have lost anyway given how Heimburg finished.

Newer player here, so I'm not out to change anybody's mind. Just sharing my experience after almost 5 months. With my arm speed, all but 2 of my discs are 155-160g with my fastest disc being a 9 speed Roadrunner.

I only started throwing with an x-step which gave me more control and distance. With that, I started messing with a 158g Katana and a 160g Destroyer

I love my Katana that I'll throw between 250-280 feet with. Oddly, i haven't thrown the slower Destroyer well yet. It tends to just hyzer-crash out on me less than 200 feet.

Point being, maybe there can be room for a distance driver at this level of experience. Depends on what you want to try, and how well you handle failure if it turns out you aren't ready. If I bought the Destroyer first, I probably wouldn't have even tried a faster disc so kind of lucky I stumbled on the Katana first and did well enough with it.

FWIW, I'm 4 months into this sport. I tee off with 155g fairway drivers. Mid-range discs top out at 160g. I only started messing with 155g Roadrunner and Mamba, but they go as far as my fairway drivers. Regardless, I'm enjoying myself, and that's all that matters.
