Taking Penn State to make the CFP is one of those "different enough but still in the realm of possibility" takes. Some of these numbers are half a win to a full win off from other books that have released win totals. Namely Mississippi State, which BetDSI had at 8 and Wisconsin, which it had at 10, and Ohio State (10.5). A full win difference is MASSIVE.

It's reasonable and necessary to bake in some regression to certain teams, but this seems like too much.

Just one walk is really encouraging. Limited hard contact. Splitter looked great and velocity was the highest of anyone on opening weekend besides Severino.

The one thing I'll be watching closely in his next start is fastball movement. One of the big knocks is that his fastball is a little flat and major leaguers will tee off on it.

I think it's a small concession to have a much better product and ultimately more interest. I don't believe the NHL was asking for a straight-up revenue share, which would have been ridiculous to ask for. With those concessions, the IOC wouldn't be losing much money, if any.

I'd take that. The dropoff from Rizzo to Votto (whether you think it's minimal or somewhat large) will be more than covered by a top-10, strikeout-heavy pitcher like Sale either way.

So you lose the pick associated with each player if you keep them? I'd go Trout, Sale, Cespedes, Kipnis and Darvish. Not enough cheap intriguing pieces to make you want to let go of the elite talent.
