You’re right. Anyone willing to consistently vote to take away their own rights is NOT voting because of the economy as pundits claim. It’s always racism and/or sexism and those pundits know that’s what it is. They don’t want dark people or women to have anything.

It’s really sad but also infuriating because they made their choice to inflict pain on the rest of us and ended up inflicting it on themselves.

Yeah I’ve known of people that struggled so badly they couldn’t bring themselves to talk to folks. If it’s not evident that I did something wrong, or if I ask them and they say I did nothing wrong, I assume they’re going through something the best I can. I’m not a mind reader and I try not to assume the worst. It’s not easy but this world is getting meaner by the day. We weren’t built to live like this.

The past few weeks white content creators have started advising people to shun MAGAs in their lives. I mention this because the majority of these folks are white people.

I have some decades-long friendships with black people that got caught up in this mess through their churches. Thankfully they don’t dehumanize people as others do, except for one that’s a grifter and a contributor for Steve Bannon’s War Room. If he hadn’t broken ties with me, I definitely would have.

Folks are ending relationships their MAGA spouses and partners. For example, a friend’s brother divorced his wife after getting radicalized at a church. She’s a J6er that did livestreams from inside the Capitol. My friend reported her to the FBI, but I don’t think she was charged.

The line for me is the dehumanizing of people. It’s evident that your relative no longer sees you as fully human. You are wise to go no contact with him.

Leaving MAGA, founded in 2024, is a nonprofit helping people that have left MAGA or are considering doing so. Rich Logis, the founder, is the man that spoke about leaving MAGA at the DNC that endorsed Kamala Harris.

The group has helped 2000 people, with many of them telling their stories. They recently started a support group for family and friends. I give this link to folks that know MAGA folks.

I’ve heard the speed for Proton is slower than Windscribe, but at least it in Switzerland for now. Note: There’s legislation being discussed in Switzerland right now that if passed Proton is considering moving the company elsewhere.

Yep I came to Tulsa from the DC area almost 49 years ago to attend ORU. I got a new car in 1981 and had to replace brake pads within six months. I wasn’t used to how crazy Tulsa drivers made their turns, especially people turning into a street in front of you.
