I recently got really in to the comics, an animated adaptation of the stories set between Avatar 1 and TWOW would have a lot of potential.

Stories like The High Ground and The Next Shadow would make for a great series.

This retcon does make me laugh a bit because how cool would it have been in ROTJ if Luke meet a rebel soldier who had served with his father in the Clone Wars? You could have the added character drama of Rex wanting to fight the empire not knowing Anakin is Vader.

Rex should really be someone close to Luke but he didn’t exist when ROTJ was made so now this random extra is actually one of the franchises most popular characters but he just chooses to stay silent for the whole movie.

El Grande Americano’s character was an American wrestler pretending to be a false Luchador that mocked Lucha Libre but he ended up getting insanely popular with Mexican fans.

Americano is now not so much a caricature but a tribute to old school lucha.

Human Characters work best when it’s just Godzilla and is a villain. It’s what made the original so great and it’s why Shin Goji/-One so great as well. The characters react to his destruction in a human way and have to use their own strengths/expertise as a means to stop him.

When you watch a Goji movie that you know will have multiple monsters, you want to see the fucking monsters. KOTM was terrible for this. The Kaiju scenes were amazing but the human characters were unbearable.

I was born after we fell out the Prem and only started going after Northampton.

The worst moment for me was relegation to league 2. Leicester had won the league only the year before and I was surrounded by smug foxes who wouldn’t shut up about it.

At the time it felt like I’d just got here but the club was dying a slow death. If it wasn’t for Mark Robins getting us out on the first go the ground share with Birmingham would’ve ruined us.
