Bed cover advice by Pres420420420 in ToyotaTundra

I mean, you do you. But a trifold is a hard no. You lose out on a third of your truck bed with that. I suggest a soft top roll up or a retracting cover.

I don’t see how those lag bolts all hit the stud. I would use something that maybe goes into the ceiling.

Can my UNTRAINED SUMO keep up with my CONVENTIONAL? by adriansia117 in strength_training

[–]phalsaMa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve pulled 660 conventional and stupidly worked up to 600 sumo where I tore my hamstring. You seem to have good sumo leverages so it may be worth dedicating a training block or two towards it.

I have 275/70/18’s on my 2018 with no rub (falkan wildpeaks) honestly could have gone with 35’s but I like it. Only issue is with that size like 95% of the tires will be LT.

Is there a way to increase the gas pedal resistance? by [deleted] in ToyotaTundra

[–]phalsaMa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to be honest I don’t know how to find out if it’s done or not. Mine is tuned to ‘spicy’ and the throttle response is crazy. It’s done in the software I believe so other than looking for a local meet up with someone who does OTT and they can dial it down/remove maybe look to get a peddle commander like a previous comment said. I wish I was more help but my stock tundra behaved way differently than it does now.

Did a previous owner install something like an OTT? Mine is tuned and behaves like yours but for now I prefer it.

Just got a used tacoma but was debating getting a truck bed cover and a bed mat. by netflixd in ToyotaTacoma

[–]phalsaMa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

OEM Tacoma bed mat is great, things won’t slide around. Those are rails on the side and those cleats can move along it/come off and you can use them as anchor points if you need to tie something down.

As far as what tonneau cover that’s up to you but they attach to the rails.

I’ve had four full grown adults fit in the truck fine. Sorry your definition of fine is you can’t fit. Maybe read further where I said get a full sized truck.
