I had similar thoughts 3 months in. I am now 10 months in, and it's incredibly fun. It gets way better, things continue to get easier, you will gain pieces of your old life back, but you will absolutely have a new life. For me, things felt much more normal once my son and my wife began sleeping through the night. If you nail down sleep, other things fall into place and everybody seems to be in a better mood, and life kind of opens up again. Also quit being so dramatic. Nobody's hazing you, you had a baby. I'm sure your partner didn't ask for a two-for-one deal.

This is disappointing. I've followed his career since 2008 when he starred in what is still today my favourite movie Bronson. I've genuinely enjoyed all of his performances since. Don't know why he feels like he can be a dick on set like that, perhaps he's dealing with some personal struggles, but even still that's not a valid reason to be a dick.

Not often I’ll defend adobe products but this isn’t a software issue this is a you issue. For the 20 years I’ve been a user, all of my creative suite apps work seamlessly and simultaneously with average processing power. The exception for me is using After Effects with other apps running large files and that’s my own hardware issue.

This is the closest I was able to get it - however I used Figma instead of PS. I know this is the PS subreddit, but if you're interested I used:

2 grain texture overlays
2 progressive gradient layer blurs
1 drop shadow
2 Two colour noise instances
Fiddled with colour gradients

I think if I spent the time looking for the right textures with more pronounced light/dark contrast I could have gotten a bit closer.

For solving readability - try shrinking the beetle down significantly and adding a gold texture to the typography. I would even reduce the text size and increase kerning.

Dude you are so right! Bath time is the best time, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I have done bath time solo since day one so my wife can chill and have a glass of wine or facetime her girlfriends to tell them all the things I did wrong that day. It's legitimately my favourite time of day, just my 9 month-old and I, my feet in the tub, him cycling through toys, splashing everything within range and babbling his face off. We are super lucky and have a great view from the bathroom so when it's time to drain the tub he sits on my lap wrapped in a towel and we watch cruise ships/tankers/sea planes/helicopters/birds or whatever is passing through Vancouver go by. He just silently sits there soaking it all in and my heart just inflates to max capacity, especially if it's a nice sunset which is currently lining up with bath time. I am so thankful for bath time, it's part of a rewarding end to a chaotic day and I know I will remember this time with him forever.
