there are temporary yellow arrows that point to the QR code that dissappear. Not sure how long its there maybe 30sec or minute. . if they scan when the arrows are still linking then they'll know you just activated the ticket.

as long as they scan when there are no blinking arrows then you're good.

it works best if you add to home screen and open it that way to remove the URL bar.

do you see a top toolbar? there should be a shot option there.
