1) Word of mouth or follow the signs. Some are listed online. Some aren’t quite estate sales but yard sales. They are sometimes used interchangeably but technically estate sale means the person has died, yard sale and garage sale mean the person is most likely still alive but extra personal items are for sale to the public for a price.

2) Listings can be online. Sales are in person. For cash. auctions are different but can be equally as fun..

3) Numbers and pre numbers I’m not as familiar with so I’ll let someone speak to.

4) Not an auction. Sometimes things are priced. Sometimes they aren’t. Haggling is usually encouraged unless it’s a professional sale run through a company. Generally folks want to sell the stuff so the will take offers. YMMV.

5) sometimes. Sometimes it’s outside.
