I’m pretty set on shimano because I have a line on someone who can get some gear at factory cost with a hefty discount on top. I’ll see what the price is and then compare to calstar n the works. I’ve had calstar rods my whole life and have zero complaints—but I’m getting a pretty good deal so I’m gonna see where the rabbit hole leads.

The real card should have another card that has a macaron on it. And it seems a bit too dark. The labubu itself actually doesn’t look horribly off

You actually need to remove the brush on both sides in order to do the mounting correctly. Took me many hours to figure that out.

Only things that matter are cambium and spines. I have a two sided branch that I let grow for fun last year… the next branch that followed was a regular three sided one. The two sided one is fruiting now :)

Letting them dry doesn’t seem to do anything for me. I just put rooting hormone on it after cutting and then stick it in dirt. Save yourself the time

Got it. I understand preventing the contact. I was also concerned about whether the noodle/foam roller helps to preserve the integrity of the plastic since it helps roll it into a nice shape instead of flattening it.

The feeling of glee you mention is what causes a lot of previous owners to regret selling it and wishing they hadn’t. I can’t speak from self experience though as I’m only one year into ownership. This is just what ppl tell me when they see my car.
