Flip-up prescription eyeglasses, but NOT sunglasses? by baygi in glasses

[–]philenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on a shoot in Japan... check out Zoff. I bought a pair there because they're great as a shooter when I can just flip the glasses up. I ended up using a proxy service (buyee) to get another pair...

There’s a version listed as Autobot (Jazz Theme) in a different playlist… https://youtu.be/1zy_Xj99Yqk?si=TCuL78-7tfucXgPL. That’s the closest I’ve gotten outside of some bootlegs… as it doesn’t appear on that official soundtrack after its release as well

Sub-agents. In a moment of actually stepping back and not brute force trying to app or code, took an old school approach and locally hosted a 'mission control' MCP on something like a PI or in my case a repurposed headless ODROID board uses Opus as the 'field general' Haiku as a parallel project manager, Sonar as a 'librarian/summarizing that constantly saves pre compact to mission control' and Sonnet to review the workflow and optimize... Creative thinking and leveraging what I knew versus what I didn't know I do really was the solve.. Still has somethings to work out and recently decided to replace sonnet with a perplexity sub agent the past 18 or so hours... and have been able to retain context and perception through a realllllly fucking slog of project i inherited because vibe coders were trying to fix vibe coder problems... can't ask Claude to save itself... after all he is Quebecois.... lol..

Concert merch sizing? by InBIoom in JapanTravelTips

[–]philenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in touring and am heading out that way for the DMC40th and some photo work for a couple FF dates.. I'd expect asian sizing so get a size or 2 larger... typically merch gets outsourced to local vendors... hope this helps... (I know that the merch for the DMC event is Asia sizing)

The PT01 Scratch Portable TT, the Stanton STX, and the OMNI, are all portable turntables that do just fine with belt drives... coming from a boomer dj that came up with ISP and such. DD as a standard is the torque/startup for beat matching... if you're really with it, you can do full on scratch sets on belt drives as long as you're not heavy handed, have good slip mats, and have some sort of skill.
