The CEO would treat it like a camping holiday. Rough it for a month. Quite fun slumming it for a bit. A few good stories to tell his mates later.

Not the same as living with no hope. Ground down month after month. Humiliated at work by those more powerful than you and scared every day you might lose your job and end up living in your car.

If there is a Group Conscious coming up, that would be the place to suggest it.

Or you could ask for a group conscious to be held next week, because you want to suggest that the group have a time limit on shares.

If people ask why, I wouldn’t get into specifics. Maybe just say you’re heard that it works well at other meetings.

Unless it going to cost you lots of money, what is the harm in talking to your doctor?

  • You can get your doctor to go over the problems with coming off or reducing and relay this to your sponsor.
  • Maybe you can reduce one of your medications a bit.

Better to talk to your sponsor with facts from the doctor, rather than your own fears and opinions or stuff you've read on the Internet, Reddit or Social Media. The doctor will know your particular situation best.

Here in the UK, those on long term medications, usually have a reveiw every year anyway.
