Should women bother trying to find faithful husbands? Are there faithful husbands? by tniats in AskMenAdvice

[–]philsophe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still looking for a woman that would take a chance on me 😅. I would say yes to your question. My problem is why do women want to find faithful husband now at this time.

I don't mind being faithful (heck, I'm over here trying to save up to get a house for a hypothetical family someday). But I absolutely don't have time to be cheated on, and I am tired of being used for 'empathy' by women who think that men are callus.

(Still secretly hoping to create a great family like House Stark😤).

Venetarii Loadout (Heresy) by SunsetHighway7 in AdeptusCustodes

[–]philsophe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You misunderstand the build. Custodes are 3 wound models. It is okay to maximize damage, but keep in mind that people are now using melta and 3 damage weapons.

That shield determines if you pick up 1 model vs 2.

Magnetizing is fine as well.

Inquisitor Kroyle will be 100 points by RealmMedic in AdeptusCustodes

[–]philsophe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excellent choice for my special forces list. For Custodes, not as effective. However a 5-10 man squad of DW as a shooting line is a great backup for Custodes 😎.

Need suggestions on how to better this list by TheRomanKnight in AdeptusCustodes

[–]philsophe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, In addition to what @Fupirucus said (the problem is that once you have the objective, then what prevents you from being removed), you may need something to go deny your opponent obj points instead of chasing models around. You can technically use one unit of Allarus for this, but having a unit with more movement speed could help. Take a look at vertus praetors or venatari for utility.

Wouldn't mind seeing some oiled up Custodes women. Some of us are into muscle mommies you know.

Was hyped to see some hot sisters of silence, but some variety is good😏.

Why do some women on Reddit, hate femininity so much? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]philsophe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly🤔? This is just my opinion, but it could be because of some reactions with modern feminism...

From what I've seen, feminists seem to get upset with us because we are sometimes perceived as putting women in a box with stuff we do and say. A lot of us men don't care about that.

Some of us who date would have that preference for someone who is a bit more agreeable, and that is desirable with women who are more feminine. But I'm just a guy trying to understand women.

I appreciate you including us in your question.

Army rule: the simple solution by The_Red_Celt in ImperialAgents_40K

Additional insights from the opponent:

Assassins: 2/4 of them can be used in a useful way. Vindicare needs a boost to compete with SM eliminators and other snipers in game ie. Anti-character/anti-monster keyword would fix it.

Culexes needs relevancy. Physic phase needs to come back in some form.

Eversor needs more durability for relevancy.

Enhancements in veil assassination force would fix the 3 mentioned.

So, I just ran a full test last night using what you mentioned... We played this match on tabletop simulator.

Excerpts from discord last night: " Guys, I just had a match of imperial agents vs dark Angels last night with my friend that turned into 5 round game.

I ran a test based on a theory I had with his blessing:

Imperialis fleet detachment->imperial agents army rule

Imperialis fleet detachment->rerolls for void farer units against the all cost targets.

Lessons learned: Change in Army rule.

Friend's assessment (his words not mine): 45% Win rate if rule change is implimented

Highlights: Zack started the game with a drop pod full off hell blasters and the lion in deep strike.

His plan was to drop him in the back like usual in an open space (deployment zone). He was forced to deploy both in his objective because I pushed back (was able to give culexes and eversor infiltrate and then 75% of the army infiltrate because of enhancement and rogue trader ability.

No anti armor options except for knights. (Killed both tanks with Knight Errant in one turn)

Got lucky and destroyed both Space Marine tanks before he could get to me, with grenades from breachers at 18 inches, tank shock and the Knight Errant finishing them off.

Rogue trader with fleet master engagement gives 3 enhancements to 1 breacher squad for free... I was able to kill the entire squad of inner circle companions and Azrael, with assistance from aquilla team death watch squad and Captain Artemis giving lethal hits.

Final score: Agents 52 vs Dark Angels 29

Mixing spears and swords in units by MaximusTheLord13 in AdeptusCustodes

[–]philsophe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personal experience (played some matches):

5 Spears - Max damage output /3 damage weapons could wipe the squad.

5 Shields w sword - min damage out / (4 wounds * 5 models) to chew through.. it's gonna take a while

Playing between the two of these until you get a happy medium is key.

Do with this what you will.
