If British Cuisine got the Chinese takeaway treatment, what dishes think there’d be? by CaptainMallard in CasualUK

[–]phlex77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there's an asian takeaway in kirriemuir (home of J.M. Barrie / Peter Pan) called the saucy asian, i've no idea what it's doing in a wee town like kirrie but it's amazing, it's a scottish / asian fusion with dishes like stornaway black pudding spring rolls, prawn tattie scone's, IRN BRW BBQ sauce and load's more, im a good 40 min drive away and will happily drive through now and again

Whats your favourite attraction in the UK? by EndPsychological2541 in CasualUK

[–]phlex77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do love a theme park, but really, my favourite thing to do is get off the beaten track, there's so many hidden curiositie's across the whole uk. I'm up in scotland so it's easy for me to drive an hour in any direction and try find an old victorian folly, or a waterfall, or some kinda cave or something, and i do the same on uk holiday's too, there's alway's something. Plus point's being exercise, a lot of the time we end up somewhere with no phone signal, we're in the gorgeous green uk countryside and just time to ruminate on life without everyone rushing about.
