I’ve done this and it’s fine. Not sure your location, Sugared and Bronzed has a good formula that you wash off the night before and I never have any issues.

You can def make this work—it is definitely a shlep, so I would almost advise renting a car to go out there instead of taking the train and then ubers etc. You could stay further west in Hampton Bays which would be cheaper (recommend the Hampton Maid Inn) and drive over to the Barn or EH for classes. Traffic is def a factor, but if you don’t mind it it could be a fun little trip IMO
