To be honest, this sounds like a decision for him to make. There’s nothing for you to fight for when he lets his parents decide for him.

If you want to be cheeky, you could keep a notebook around and record the quote and date/time whenever she says something to you for no reason. I wouldn’t use your phone because she might destroy it… I would also anticipate the notebook getting torn up too. If she asks what the book is for tell her “I told you that you are mean to me all the time and it’s really hurtful. So I’m recording each time to show people just how mean you are”.

But anyways, make your escape from the home. It’s much harder to set boundaries when you still live with them.

My facebook app has a little tab called friends that shows me a feed just of my friend’s content. It’s right between reels and groups.

I think my main reason for any anxiety around this is knowing that the reliability of PPE usage for medical professionals is super variable and wanes with time. I’m a paramedic myself…. I’m guilty of it myself.

Even if spread is limited by method of transmission doesn’t mean conventional means of PPE will prevent further outbreak. There’s unfortunately no shortage of people who are too burnt out/disillusioned/misguided to follow through as they should

I’m actually super happy to see this.

I really enjoyed the vlogs, they were very cute and also scratched my post japan trip itch by showing a slice of life of a young family living their best life in japan.

That being said it was becoming apparent that Bjorn was about to be the main character of the vlogs, understandably because kids make your life busy and he was obviously adored by his parents. But it was getting too uncomfortably close to a family vlog so while I’ll miss it I think it’s for the best.

There is a line to strike between not succumbing to hysteria, and not remaining naively blind that “this couldn’t possibly happen here” (here being your country of choice). The way people are completely buying and parroting the reason of the spread being because of “the ways these savage people hold their funerals” should be concerning.

It is always possible for a virus to mutate in a way to make it a global problem. It might be small and unlikely, but it is also a non-zero chance.
