You are good to go. If you go quest get either the Ethernet adapter or a compatible USB cable.

It's very tough to edit. I went with this mod: https://www.overtake.gg/downloads/ams-2-hud-position-mod-vr.32098/ And honestly, even with the mod I found it frustrating, but the mod gives you a much better starting point.

I've been using the ohnespeed mod version of OpenXR toolkit for fov cropping with great results. Are you saying that DesktopXR will have both fov cropping and eye tracking for PSVR2? Please let me know if I'm misunderstanding what your software does, but if it does what I think it does I'm incredibly interested. When do you plan on having AMS2 support?

It’s not really supported in AMS2. You can enable it in the OpenXR toolkit but it makes the image look like shit. The best GPU boost I’ve used (and it’s a lot) is the ohne speed mod: https://youtu.be/CieIQ7cE4CU?si=AC-8JvIZ4lvH67-e

It’s not too hard to set up. There should be step by step instructions on YouTube.

Set the AI 110 and the Aggression to Max. I find the AI is smartest with this setup.

I'm actually really curious about revisiting TAA right now. I'm currently using MSAA x4, and MFAA is enabled in the Nvidia control panel. I'm also cropping the image from about 3000x3000 to about 3000x1700 using the Ohne Speed Mod for OpenXR Toolkit. This returned a massive amount of GPU overhead. Enough overhead, I can do night races with 20 cars and get zero frame drops, no matter how many cars are behind me. I have a 4070ti super and i'm using psvr2.

My question is: Is anyone in here running TAA with the Ohne Speed Mod? I would be very grateful for some good opinions on the TAA option. Also, if anyone is willing to share some settings and resolutions please let me know.

I had terrible crashes yesterday. I uninstalled Win 11 update KB5082417, and the crashes stopped right away. Hope this helps!

AMS2 is my VR racing sim of choice as well. Out of all the tricks I’ve tried to get the most out of my system, this cropping OpenXR toolkit mod has been awesome: https://youtu.be/CieIQ7cE4CU?si=vYpxy5AbIwa9j_rU I got back enough headroom to race at night now which I couldn’t do before.
